THE Australian teams featuring Bendigo’s Matt Fitt and Terry Atkinson are unbeaten and on top of their divisions after three days of competition in the Masters World Series Indoor Cricket tournament in South Africa.
Fitt is playing in the over-30 men’s team in his first time representing Australia, while Atkinson is playing for the over-45 team at his second Masters World Series.
Atkinson has played three games, scoring 24 runs at a strike rate of 47.06and taken five wickets, while in four games Fitt has made 89 runs at a strike rate of 150.8 and taken seven wickets.
The over-30 team was 6-0 and the over-45 team 5-0 after the first three days of the tournament.
