Blayney Shire Council at its last meeting on 14 October revealed how much it had spent on consultants.
The information was in response to a request by councillor David Kingham at the previous meeting.
However, the Blayney Chronicle and general public won’t know the dollar amount as the report was aired in a closed session of the meeting.
According to the business paper, the matter is “considered to be confidential under Section 10A(2) (di) of the Local Government Act.
“…it deals with commercial information of a confidential nature that would, if disclosed … prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied it.”
