THE Coalition won the election by the biggest margin in recent times, yet newly elected Opposition Leader Bill Shorten is already indicating he will oppose Prime Minister Tony Abbott on the abolition of the carbon tax, (and I assume anything else the Coalition puts on the table) something the majority of Australia voted for.
CFMEU president Joe McDonald, with regard to industrial relations, stated that Mr Abbott is a mongrel of a man with no mandate.
Mr Shorten sent the union a letter of support.
If this is going to be Labor’s tactics for the next three years, it obviously is yet to sink in why it lost this election and will only dig itself a deeper hole.
