The Players have been able to obtain the services of a professional actor to run a weekend drama workshop for adults and youth here at the Point on January 17, 18 and 19 at our local community hall. The workshop will cover all facets of theatre and 25 participants will be able to attend. The cost of the workshop will be $25 for adults over 18 and $15 for students. This fee covers membership to The Players and the Macleay Valley Arts Council for 2014.
Our first production for 2014 will be a musical by Judith Prior who wrote The Outback Debutant Ball. It is titled Streudelfest and has a cast of 12 of varying ages. This production will be performed in May.
