Vandals have struck Dubbo’s Victoria Park with graffiti covering the skate park bowl as well as a toilet block and day care centre for children. Vandals have struck Dubbo’s Victoria Park precinct overnight causing an estimated $10,000 of damage.
They covered the skate park bowl with graffiti, as well as targeting a nearby toilet block and day care centre for children.
Dubbo City Council appealed for public assistance and highlighted a $2500 reward it offered for information leading to a conviction.
The attack occurred just two days after the Dubbo City Youth Council tackled graffiti in the main street with the help of the community.
“This episode is particularly disappointing after we had such success in the CBD on Sunday for Graffiti Removal Day,” council community participation facilitator Kathleen Oke said.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the council’s customer service centre on 6801 4000.
